Palbace 125 mg (Palbociclib)

Palbociclib is a medication primarily used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

It belongs to a class of drugs known as cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitors, which work by inhibiting the activity of CDK4 and CDK6, proteins that regulate the cell cycle and cell division. By blocking these proteins, palbociclib helps to slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells.

Palbociclib is typically used in combination with other hormone therapy medications, such as aromatase inhibitors or fulvestrant, in postmenopausal women, and in combination with fulvestrant in premenopausal and perimenopausal women.
