Rivaroxaban 15 mg

Rivaroxaban belongs to a class of drugs known as direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) or factor Xa inhibitors, which work by inhibiting the activity of factor Xa, an enzyme involved in the blood clotting process.

Rivaroxaban is typically taken orally in tablet form, usually once or twice daily, depending on the condition being treated and the individual’s kidney function. The 15 mg dose is commonly used for the treatment of DVT and PE, as well as for extended prevention of VTE after initial treatment.
